A Story of Sfakia book

by Andy_C » 21 Aug 2019, 08:56

We may call it a success (picture).
I regret I missed this book when it was published and do hope for the second edition. Any chance?

It should still be available from the Cretan publisher

https://www.mystis.gr/en/books/view/the ... an-context

They will soon also be publishing a Greek translation.

Thanks for the interest!

Many thanks, Peter, for your prompt reply, highly appreciated! I will try my chance today.

Update: after rather long waiting this wonderful book was delivered - at a reasonable price :)
Highly recommended if anybody wants to get better understanding of Sfakia - imho.

Is there any chance of a second print in English?
Still unable to travel to Sfakia with all the restrictions, I have been rereading your "In Sfakia", and I would really love to read "A Story of Sfakia". Though it only makes me miss Sfakia more, it is still a wonderful read in the Danish summer.
I hope we can go next spring so we can be there for Easter and make more use of Jean's great descriptions of good wildflower locations.
Hope you are both well.
All the best
Dorthe

For those who like to read about Sfakia: I got both books (In Sfakia and Story of Sfakia), and I can assure you:
very worth reading it, great literature! Keep searching, good luck!
