Yes....an amazing video but already showing how technology has moved on in the last thirty years. I am always happy to reach the other side of the bridge as it seems quite a flimsy structure not intended for permanent use.
As anecdote I have noted that the steel construction of the bridge comes from Glengarnock in Scotland.....inscribed on the construction. The world is small but as a student I worked during the summer holidays in Glenganock Steelworks. The Steelworks is already a long time closed and reverted to green fields. Nevertheless it has left its mark in history in this remarkable bridge at the other end of Europe.
