A new video directed by award-winning director Theo Papadoulakis takes us on a fascinating virtual tour across the most inspiring and moving experiences that the Greek island of Crete has to offer.

Produced by Indigo View on behalf of the Region of Crete, the 5-minute video lingers over Crete’s exotic beaches and crystal clear waters and then takes viewers on a flight over its snowy mountains, verdant gorges and silver-toned olive orchards, accompanied by authentic traditional music and warm-hearted smiles.

Gorgeous! How wonderful to see familiar sights and faces, if only fleetingly, and others not in Sfakia. Looks like they are trying to promote year-round tourism with the snow shots. But it also made us sad knowing we can't be there, maybe until next year.

DAMN! I wish I'd not watched that now. Makes me miss Crete even more and long to be back. The people, the food, the architectural history, the culture, the sea.....I could go on. As I say to people, you can leave Crete, but Crete never leaves you. Always in my heart.
