When are you coming to Crete (again) in 2019?

Dear Crete-lovers,

The 2018 season is slowly coming to an end.

This year we had guests from New Year, something new, and a flying start from half March, around Easter, a very busy May and June, and the busiest September ever, with all rooms fully booked, despite the extremely good summer in West Europe. The weather in Crete unfortunately was not so good, with rain in mid summer, and a large storm for several days end of September. Until mid October most rooms were full. During the year we had more groups (family events, students, hikers and mountain bikers) than ever, from all around the globe.

Expectations for 2019 are high again. Several people have already made plans for the new season, and again we got reservations for the new season from last August. Most airlines already have their schedule to Chania and Heraklion airport ready for 2019.

In 2019 Western Easter Sunday is on the 21st of April, 3 weeks later than this year (Greek Easter 1 week later, on 28th April!). Around the 1st of April, 2019 most accommodations will open.

We are curious to know from you what your plans are for 2019, so please let us know here.

You can select up to 3 options, in case you are coming to Crete for more than 1 time a year.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Hi Erno & all your members and guests,
We shall be arriving at HER on 12 June 2019 and leave on 4 July 2019.
Most of our time will be spent in Agia Roumeli [14-15 days] with the balance in Iraklio city centre.
Some years have passed since we were last there but it was always a buzz place for me, more so than Hania or Retimo. Perhaps because of the old saying, "Irakleio for drinking" , the other cities being cited for either learning or priests.
Flying with Thos Cook from Manchester.
Best wishes to all for a calm and peaceful winter [^***] .

We arrive in Chania 16th September and fly out 2nd October. A few days here and there in Sfakia, including a short stay in Anopoli for the first time. Can't wait! It is currently very warm here in Australia, good preparation for our visit.

Hello,
We are coming in April 2019 and are staying one night in Georgioupoli and the rest at Lefka Ori in Chora Sfakion.
Next trip is in May/June and are staying 3 nights in georgioupoli and 1 night in vatalos in Frangostello, and The rest at Lefka Ori in Chora Sfakion.
In september we are staying again in Sitia on The East coast after a very nice stay we had 2018.

And we are really hoping to come to Sfakia in October because Andrew would like to compete in the Wertical Run, which we saw now 2018 when we sat in Anopoli and saw them come in to the finish.

Have a nice spring everybody.

Lots of love Marie and Andrew Sweden/England
