And here are a few of the plants we saw:
A carob tree with green pods, which will ripen by the autumn:
Field marigold (Calendula arvensis), which is plentiful now:
The delicate little Solenopsis minuta, which Wiltrud had especially wanted to find:
A tiny white-flowered creeper of some sort:
Deep purple little Linaria pelisseriana:
The colourful little variegated anchusa:
An unidentified yellow flower, maybe some kind of crepis?:
A small sedum (we haven't seen many as it has been very dry lately):
And two bushes coming into flower - Sarcopoterium spinosum (Thorny burnet) and Euphorbia acanthothamnos (Spiny spurge)
