WWII Ceremony

Wiltrud sent some photos today of a ceremony in Sfakia commemorating WWII (the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Crete). The weather looks perfect for the event.

She mentioned that there are a few more tourists around, including a walking group from Luxembourg, and some visitors staying at the Vritomartis. There are now 4 restaurants open in the village.

Hello Jean,

Thanks for the pictures you received from Wiltrud of the 80th anniversary of the battle of Crete. Nice that 4 of the restaurants are open now and that a few tuourists are arounde. It looks promising for all our friends in Sfakia.

Send our regards to Peter.

Best wishes
Marie and Andrew
