Heavy rain expected from tomorrow in Chania - 28 November, 2020

The drought period is ending for several parts of the country

According to the forecast data of the National Observatory of Athens / Meteo.gr, the long period of drought is ending for most parts of the country, as the next period of successive barometric lows is expected to give significant rainfall, starting on the two days Sunday 29/11 - Monday 30/11.

The map below shows the first of the barometric lows (with the phenomena that will accompany it), in the evening hours of Sunday 29/11.

Finally, the following forecast map shows the estimated cumulative rainfall from late at night on Saturday 28/11, when it will rain in the southwestern country, until the early hours of Tuesday 01/12 when the effects will be limited to the east and south.

As shown on the map, the weather will affect Chania Prefecture on Sunday.
