I forgot to say that there was aubretia above Xyloskala on Omolos the other day too.

Of course I know this is not Sfakia, but the contrast with Omalos was interesting. Very different tulips (red not pink, apart from the different shape), more than we have seen before. We re-visited Omalos yesterday, and were amazed by the abundance of tulips. ASuch a change in less than a fortnight - hey were everywhere! There were plenty still in bud too, so they will remain good for a visit in the next week or more. We also saw the last remnants of scillas and crocuses low on t...

A few more. It was an excellent day for crocuses!

We will go again next week to see if there are any more tulips out.
