Does anybody know what the latest edition of this map is? I have a version, dated 2015. According to Amazon, there is a 1 November 2018 version. The Anavasi website, however, shows a 2016 edition. If there is indeed a 2018 edition, are there significant improvements to the older ones? I am particularly interested in the area around Sougia. There are several tracks lacking in the 2015 edition and also some wrong information is provided.

My copy is the 2016 edition, which the Anavasi website lists as the current one.

The same source shows a 2019 version of 11.11/11.12 ie Lefka Ori etc. I'll be in Crete in early June so will look to buy that if it's in stock at the outdoor equipment shop near Chania bus station.

Maybe someone else who's already visited this season will be able to give you more information.

Hi Jan. Thanks for you reply. Good suggestion to look for the map in Chania. Do you have an address of the outdoorshop you mentioned?

The shop is on Skalidi street. I'm afraid I can't remember its name, but if you leave the bus station by the NW corner, walk up the road leading towards Skalidi, cross that street when you reach it and walk a short distance to the E you can't miss the shop. The staff were very helpful last time I was there.

By coincidence, I shall tomorrow be at one of the best specialist travel bookshops in London. If I have time I'll look at the maps they have in stock there and let you know what I find.

OK, as of 1500 UK time the maps in stock in London were

11.11/11.12 Lefka Ori date 2019 (I bought that)
11.13 Sougia etc date 2018

Great! Thanks again. Since my version is fom 2015 it is probably worth the while to buy the 2018 edition.
